Welcome to Regal Racing.
My name is Will and I'm currently 19 years old and writing this piece from Devon, England. Regal Racing will supply all recent and up to date horse racing news, as well as betting tips for all major race days and premier racing days, including some tips through the week when finding good value winners and each-way bets.
My interest in racing grew as the COVID-19 lockdown and restrictions were lifted in England, allowing racing to resume. As with many others during the brunt of COVID-19, I struggled mentally, horse racing improved my outlook and I quickly became hooked on this beautiful sport and its gorgeous animals.
Soon into my racing journey, I started getting involved in betting, having a good few results over the past few years. I have found big priced winners at 10/1, 20/1 and even a 35/1 winner. As I progressed, I began giving tips and suggestions to friends and family, one of these included an each-way placing that had odds of 100/1.
2023 was the year I began to get interested in owning a racehorse for myself. Having had a look at options such as syndicates and racing clubs, I found these did not fit with what I wanted, until I found a trainer local to me.
Joe Tickle comes from a racing background of training point to point winners, as well as having a successful career in pony races, many of which involved his step-son Taylor Fisher. Taylor has gone on to become an amateur 3 pound claimer with many wins under his belt already.
An opportunity came up to own shares in a dual purpose horse named Daany. Daany runs over hurdles, and flat races on turf and all weather. As of January 2024, i was an owner of a wonderful racehorse with a bright future ahead of him. Daany raced at Wincanton on the 6th of January, two days after I became an owner. As if it was written for a movie, Daany won his race over hurdles with jockey Michael Nolan, this was the proudest day of my life. Nolan has built an amazing relationship with Daany, stating his joy for riding him and we aim to continue this partnership for future races.
"Two miles around Wincanton seems to suit him down to the ground"

My first venture into social media as a horse owner was my TikTok account, which I made to share my journey as a young racehorse owner. 19 is a rather young age to own a racehorse, this was something I wanted to share with others and possibly inspire them to be owners also.
My account made slow progress, gaining 50 followers within a few days and getting between 1000 and 2500 views per video. I then branched out into content based on general racing news and tips, as well as still sharing my journey with my community.
The aim behind creating this website was to help other people like me get involved in horse racing, which has now become a sport I love deeply. My ultimate goal would be to be involved in the sport as a career, either as a pundit or a reporter.
I hope you will join me on this journey,
Founder of Regal Racing
