He saddles City Of Troy this year who's currently the 4/6 favourite. Our picks for the race

To win: Rosallion 4/1

City Of Troy is there to be shot at with him at 4/6 and i think Rosallion has the best form out of the whole field with his 2-year-old form being franked many times with runners in the fields coming out and winning already this season. Richard Hannon had a good winner with Haatem in the bet365 Craven Stakes (Group 3) who also runs here, and Sean Levey is a jockey in top form and if there's any colt to beat City Of Troy it'll be this lad.

Each-way: Night Raider 16/1

Colt who has really caught the eye this season at Southwell in 2 all weather starts. On debut he won by 9 lengths and back in 3rd was Danielle trained by John & Thady Gosden who went and won a novice stakes race at Wetherby by 12 lengths at an absolute canter she also has some lofty entries including this years Betfred Oaks (Group 1) at Epsom. On his second he beat Cogitate by 5 lengths who ran in a group 3 as a 2-year-old and furthermore the 19-length 3rd place came out and came 2nd on turf at Yarmouth so Night Raider could be bang there if transferring all weather form to Turf.

Our picks for the race

To win: See The Fire 8/1

Won a competitive Maiden for Fillies at Newmarket on the July course when keeping on well, got thrown into a Group 2 at Doncaster when 2nd after jockey said the filly hung left under pressure. Then went into a Group 1 Fillies at Newmarket and only went down by 1 and 1/4 lengths to Ylang Ylang who goes here as well but hung left again. If she can have a clear run and not hang left, she should be bang there and could go close Oisin booked who has ridden the filly in both group starts.

Each-way: Darnation 33/1

Too Darn Hot filly who started off very well by winning a novice in impressive style at Thirsk on her 2nd start winning by 10 lengths Infront of an Evens favourite. Then went into Group company at Goodwood in a Group 3 when following up and winning again when switched right at the furlong pole and won going away. Then beat Sea The Fire at Doncaster in a Group 2 in clear cut fashion by 3 lengths. Took her chance in a Group 1 at Longchamp when only going down 6 lengths, was a fair run from this filly and 33/1 seems fairly big for a horse of this quality.

Good luck to Saffie Osborne who has her first classic ride in this year's 2000 Guineas at the age of 22. The 22-year-old had a very successful winter in the middle east having a few winners and many good rides. She will partner the Ed Walker trained Ten Bob Tony who is a current 50/1 chance. Saffie the daughter of trainer and ex jockey Jamie Osborne recorded 70 winners in 2023 including a Group race win. She also won the Racing League jockeys title for the second year in a row. she then bounced back from a three-month spell on the sidelines after damaging knee ligaments and In February she won Qatar's Dukhan Sprint and became the first female jockey to ride a winner at Meydan in Dubai. Go well Saffie and everyone at Regal Racing wishes you the best of luck.
